    That photo of troops sleeping in the hallways.....staged?

    Troops are issued sleeping mats and bags.

    Still, horrible optics: The last time US Troops were billeted in the Capitol, Stonewall Jackson was at Bull Run.

      Yeah, but whether or not they packed them is an entirely different question. I'm guessing they got off the bus, and were left by themselves for more than an hour. Anytime you leave a soldier alone for more than that, they will find a way to sleep.

      I was deployed to DC for the first anniversary of 9/11 and I can tell you there is not a lot of places for a battalion to rack out much less 2 divisions worth that are there for the current coup.
