This came from Bill Maher's mouth? Really?
Words of wisdom from Bill Maher, who certainly doesn’t express any sympathy for or with Donald Trump within them. It’s a couple of days old, but the wrap-up of his Real Time episode on Friday addresses some important points, especially in the near future. How do 81 million Biden voters get along with 74 million Trump voters, and vice versa? Maher argues that attempting to paint all Trump voters as insurrectionists is about the worst possible strategy for the media and in politics, and he’s correct.

Don't watch em, don't listen to em, avoid spending one red cent that enriches them or their masters.
Life without cable TV is great. Life without Amazon requires proper planning for those of us in the deeper rural areas, changing phone services, and even health care providers is an annoyance but ultimately my little way of sending a fuck you to these cretins, till such time as other options are more appropriate.

DeleteThey don't give a fuck - they've already got their audience and don't care who else doesn't watch. Market power is everything, and we, collectively, don't have enough to make much, if any, lasting impact. Sure, a short term hit is possible, but beyond that....nah. It sucks, but until there are real competitors to them, that will remain the case.
Well, that is likely true. Still will do my best not to help fund them until other options for change for present themselves. You provide a good dose of reality none the less.

Every now and then he'll say something that sounds extremely reasonable and I'll think, maybe he's ok. Maybe he's not too bad. Then he'll open his pie-hole again and ruin it. He is an extreme lefty, but like the old days he knows how to cover it a bit better.

Here are some similarly grounded hypotheticals:
"How do we integrate 15 million Martians into American society after they fly here by flapping their wings?"
"What should I do with the money when I win the 60 billion dollar Powerball(TM) jackpot?"
"Should we teach dolphins to speak English, or should we teach them to use American Sign Language instead?"
As for the dolphins, we need to eat more dolphins. They are a fantastic meat meal.
