There is a lot happening quickly in our nation. While many people are reacting out of frustration, fear, anger, and mostly out of uncertainty, John sits down to discuss the role of exercising free speech in winning a war on ideas. The Left has been doing it well for years, and for too long we've let it boil away our freedoms slowly. Now is the time to speak up! In the face of near-certain censorship and cancel-culture, we have to have courage and propose better ideas and choose our words wisely.

Couldn't finish the video. He says this isn't a time for violence, its a war of ideas. He quite rightly says the Left has been fighting it for a long time and winning. Do you think that most of the public, which has allowed the shrieking children to help themselves at the candy aisle are going to make a difference now? I get we want avoid a civil war if at all possible, but not at all costs. The left is choosing the fight, most conservatives have pretty much ignored the chicanery and gotten on with our lives - oops the joke was on us. Only consequences change behavior and there have been no consequences. Should we try to avoid violence, yes. But the choice is not ours. The Left is spoiling for a fight because they think they are in a position to win. Now the choice is when the cross that line you drew, do you take one step back and draw another, and then another - or is it game on?
ReplyDeleteThis is about power and control without limit. Every demand has brought more demands, they are never satisfied. No amount of warnings are going to stop them, they don't believe conservatives, because conservatives have never fought back against the squalling children in our midst.
So let us hope that Trump's plan works and that the damage is minimal. Too many conservatives have been too quiet. If you want your country back you will have to earn it. Support TGE Trump, don't fall for the Leftists lies or their bait (don't go to the State Capital protests). Don't wish Trump were nicer or whatever, he is doing what we should have done a long time ago. Why has Trump urged calm and following the law, because he knows the Leftists are running black flag events. Let them expose themselves, let their only choice be to hurt their own comrades when staging the riots. It sounds callous, but if it comes to Civil War we want our fighters unhurt and fighting on our terms, not the Left's.
If you want something productive to do right now, troll social media. Get the Leftists to declare themselves. They want to make lists, use their rules against them. May come a time when you need that list.
I agree 100%. I do think we conservatives will have to become much more offensive and bring the fight right into the commie's faces. We really have become soft.
DeleteBut the commie left-overs first need to be reported and hopefully they will be picked up and questioned. If you have done your homework and been able to document plenty of subversive activities that your commie target is suspected of, they might go away for a long time. No longer do we "live and let-live". The commies have been destroying our country for at least 70 years, now it is kick-back.
