I think it is time for every patriot who is a registered Republican to change their party affiliation to independent. Show the Republican party how many supporters they have lost because of their actions.
I'm already registered as Independent and have been for I don't know how long. These past 2 elections are the only ones I can remember where I voted Republican.
I'm only retaining my Republican registration so I can vote against incumbents in the primaries and if the incumbent prevails, for the opposition in the general elections.
The idea has emotional appeal, but the problem, TTown, is that "showing them" how many they lost isn't likely to make much of an impression on them. Rather, as Rickn8or, Aggie, and Me said, the primaries are the real issue. Even with rigged elections, primaries are the best way to remove incumbents.
Heavy. But how come armed officers/security were on both sides of the barricaded door? A neck shot would have taken out a law enforcement officer since the round would hit above the plates. Sad & confusing...
I’ve heard, over and over, that there are two kinds of people in America: Patriots and Traitors.
Of the Patriots, I include those who support the Constitution, follow the law, and show respect for others. For the most part, they just want to be left alone to “Pursue Liberty,” and provide for themselves and their families.
Of the Traitors, I include Nancy Pelousy, Chucky Schemer, AOC and her “squad,” Chief Just-us John Roberts, and those who will steal our (Deplorable) futures for their mess of pottage ($60,000/year pay raise), and power. I also include the thieves who openly STOLE our votes to install, not elect, a senile old hair-sniffer and child fondler, into the highest office of the land, while he honestly believes and says, “I don’t work for you!” He is right, he works for the Chinese and those who will pay him the most bucks.
But, after yesterday’s activities in the District of Columbia, I include a third category: Cowards.
In that category, I include those people who won’t stand up for the Constitution and the voters who put them in office. They are the Republicans in the House and Senate who stood by and let the crooks steal my children’s future, and those Democrats who continue to say one thing and do another.
I give special consideration to two major cowards;
First, is Vice President Mike Pence. Oh, Mike, we (80,000,000 of us) had such hopes for you. Those are gone. So, too, is any future you had planned in politics.
Second, is the cowardly mouse, er… man, who shot (murdered) Ashli Babbit, an honorably discharged veteran of 14 years in the U.S. Air Force. My heart goes out to Ashli and her family. Hopefully there will be justice to assuage their grief. But in today’s political climate, I fear her murder will be covered up by someone claiming, “I was just following orders,” or “I was scared!”
To that coward following orders I say, “Do the ‘Nuremburg Trials’ mean anything to you?”
It reminds me of aforementioned John Roberts who was afraid of street violence if the Supremes listened to evidence of stolen votes.
The “Left” uses as martyrs such people as George Floyd (druggie and thug), Trevon Martin (thug), Michael Brown (bully and thug), etc., etc. as their martyrs; and they riot, pillage, and burn cities, while Ashli will be thrown on the ash heap of history (see what I did there, burn/ash heap?).
Rest in peace, sweet Ashli. You will not be forgotten; at least not by me.
To Ashli’s murderer I ask, “Hey, Asshole, I’m a veteran of twenty-two years in the Air Force. Do you want to drag your cowardly butt down here to Oklahoma City and take on this 76-year-old, Vietnam Veteran?”
If yes, you can have your co-thugs (D.C. police) look me up. I’m not hiding. I await your answer. But I won’t hold my breath. -=-=-=-
Thanks for letting me rant, Kenny. I’m one pissed off (former) NCO/Patriot.

SO if she had been black, and the cop shot her while she was unarmed, then would ther Mob riot for her? This was Murder, by the definitions the Left uses. (and it was murder the way I see it, with the facts I have).
If you want to be part of positive change, you need to register in a political party - pick one - in order to be able to vote in their primaries. Primaries are where the candidates are decided. We primaried our House Rep seat and got a career politician who lost 2 years ago in Dallas, to a Dem. He didn't win by much. We also got John Cornym, who easily survived the primary and re-election.
If you don't like your politicians, change them! But there's no room for complaining if you're not working in some way to make the changes happen. It takes more than voting - as we've just seen.
Aggie, if you want to continue believing that voting makes a difference, no one can stop you, but that's not going to sell well here. What makes you so sure the Democratic* (*Not Really) Party isn't going to rig the elections in Texas like they've done elsewhere? TINVOWOOT
Hey Aggie! I have not heard ever a squeek out of our GOV Abbott since Trump started talking about shipping the GA Gov and SoS to Gitmo for treason, have you? Abbott needs to be recalled. He is enjoying that CCP money too much.
In my state if you don’t have a party designation, you can’t vote in the primary. I used it (R) to try to get rid of McStain but we got stuck with him anyway. I used to use D and vote in the primary for the dumbest, most inarticulate buffoon they had running but it got too hard to choose any one candidate out of a sea of D retards.

DeleteThe difference between Dems and Repubs is like the difference between being drowned by an alligator or a crocodile. Same result.
