This, according to AAA spokeswoman Megan Cooper, who told The Tennessee Star in an email Friday that the Volunteer State is currently the ninth least expensive market for gasoline in the nation.
Friday’s state average of $2.28 is 22 cents less expensive than the national average, Cooper said.

ReplyDeleteDo the math and we pay between $5.50 - $6.00 a gallon.
However, we have free, but unavailable health care. That is the socialist way.
$2.49 Where I buy my gas as of yesterday when I drove by. When I last filled up a couple weeks ago it was $2.29. When the Usurper gets done screwing around with fracking, drilling and pipeline closures, we'll be at $5.00 min.

I got fuel, yesterday, just across the border in Vermont. It was $2.43 for 87, up from $2.03 back in November, right before the election. Just inside the NY border, the stations in Granville were charging right around $2.60.
ReplyDeleteI don't see prices leveling out any time soon.

Gas prices are going up faster than Beijing Joe sneaks up on a 10 year old girl.
ReplyDelete+ $.38 in Lord Governor Inslee's fiefdom. BARTENDER! MORE TAXES! And hay for my men.
ReplyDeleteIn Big Lake, AK it's currently $2.54 and rising.
ReplyDeleteThe price isn't as relevant as the fact that it's went up .30 cents since the election and continues rising.
I will not be surprised to see it hit $4.00 during the coming summer, due to Xiden's war on fossil fuels.

2.29 red Biden bucks for a gal of 10% ethanol on the way home from work, Tulsa Ok area. Everyone stay warm, another cold night coming
ReplyDelete$2.53
ReplyDeleteI'll point out two things; $10/gallon is their goal (per previous policy statement), and the MANDATED percentage of ethanol (Min.) will be 15%.
ReplyDeleteHappy Comrades?
And when the prices go up, the Dems will blame the evil gas companies for windfall profits. And the low information sheep will bleat the obligatory refrains to nationalize the oil industry, which had to be the only solution to the problem that did not exist when the previous admin loosened up the regulations and let American know how tackle the problems.
ReplyDeleteThe increased costs will be felt throughout the economy, as the increased transportation costs work their way thru the supply chain. Look for everything to go up in price while the Biden folks ratchet up taxes on everything else as well.
The only good news is that some oil companies will be able to squeeze a few more barrels out of production fields that are not economical at the current prices.
Hell, I better shut up before I am branded a white supremacist domestic terrorist patriarch for questioning the wisdom of Joe and the Ho. Bleat, bleat, bleat... Bend over, with Buttplug for secretary of transportation, we are fixing to get screwed is a way we won't like. I still think those that voted for his confirmation get confused when they were told he was well educated and highly experienced on the Hershey Highway.
Yeah, but as an oilwell owner I am getting $61 a barrel for crude right now. I haven't seen those prices for almost ever.
