Facebook, not Parler, played the largest role in the Capitol Hill riot, new documents show

New data from the American Department of Justice shows that despite the media and big tech campaign against Parler, it was Facebook which served as the top rallying point for those storming the Capitol Building on Jan 6, Forbes reports.

After pro-Trump rioters disputing the results of the 2020 presidential election rioted at Capitol Hill in the early days of 2021, multiple news outlets and Silicon Valley megacorporations blamed the pro-free speech social media app Parler as the gathering point for right wing extremists.

  1. I read an article a day or two ago that alleged the reason ACS Cloud Services deplatformed Parler was because Bezos thought Trump was either joining to join it or become a major stakeholder. I'm no lawyer but that sounds like restraint of trade and/or anti-trust collusion to me. But, all those companies that are freezing President Trump out are run by lefty's so that must make it OK.

In other news, Twatter has deplatformed James O'Keefe AND Project Veritas. What was it some guy once said? When you're taking flak, you must be over the target. Now if Facefook joins in, that's definitely collusion. The way the courts are structured these days O'Keefe will probably be told he lacks "standing".

    1. RICO.

Whoops, the d-rats never heard of it, would never enforce it, and know damn well most of their buddies would have long prison terms if it were ever to be enforced.

    2. Wondering who the fuck this "American Department of Justice" is? To my knowledge nothing like exists at the federal level.
