Fucking Bay Area, I swear...

An Oakland Chinatown liquor store owner was arrested and bailed out after firing his gun four times to save a woman in her 30s from a violent robbery on Monday. The 36-year-old store owner faces one count of felony assault with a firearm. He was bailed out on Tuesday at $60,000, the Alameda County Sheriff’s department said, according to KTVU. The investigation into the case is ongoing.

  1. The Chinese person will be indicted on a hate crime as well. Criminals are exempt from California laws, ordinary citizens are the only ones subject to them.

I hope I never have to travel to that Socialist Shithole again.

Yes, I witnessed here being murdered.

By the way, this was NOT a robbery, it was a looting, and those are fine.

  6. Part of the problem: The news writer said people "felt sad" when the protector was arrested.

  7. What the police Captain is not saying is that taking something worth less than $950, knocking someone down - both misdemeanors in Ca. So if one of those bullets would have connected, the perp could have sued and ended up owning that liquor store. Also, discharging a firearm within the city can be treated as a felony.

  8. The article mentioned the police concern that an innocent bystander might be injured. Cops don't like citizens shooting innocent bystanders. That's their job.

  10. Man! No way I could live in a place that is so devoid of common sense. When you need immediate help, the cops are only minutes away. Most (I have to say that) cops in Texas have common sense, except for a couple idiots in Dallas that think this freaking mask mandate is law and their job is to uphold it. Hopefully, the state legislature will make non-license carry legal this session along with the other 18 states that have it.
