Sales of US Constitution topped 1 million during Trump years

NEW YORK (AP) — At the National Constitution Center, in Philadelphia, they like to joke that what’s bad for the country is often good for the organization.

“Web traffic is through the roof,” says the nonprofit’s CEO and president, Jeffrey Rosen. “We had more than 400,000 visitors to our site in the days following Jan. 6,” when supporters of President Donald Trump rampaged in the U.S. Capitol. “Our previous record was around 160,000.”

  1. I am guessing that none of that web traffic came from the RNC or any of the higher echelon of that pussified organization.

  2. Was that Rosen's words? "..supporters of President Trump rampaged..." If so, what an a--hole!!!
Although MAGA supporters had every right to rampage, it was Antifa goons that infiltrated the group to make the false flag work. Everyone with even half a brain knows this - those with less than that are running our country now.

    1. You fell for the trick used by the writer.

Notice if you will, that the words in question were not a quote from Rosen. Those words were inserted between two quotes. By doing so, it was made to look like it was all one quote.

The author of this article duplicitously combined into one sentence his own words with a quote from Rosen.

  3. A fraction of the number of guns sold in the same time frame... but it's a start. Now to get them in our schools and colleges.

  4. "when supporters of President Donald Trump rampaged in the U.S. Capitol"

repeat the lie often enough and it becomes truth. I guess they did not want to be cancelled. Hope every potential buyer sees this and gets them cancelled. Fuck Jeffery Rosen

    1. Look again.

In the article, the words you quoted are not part of the quote in the article. In the article it reads, "quote" words "quote"

By sandwiching those words between two quotes, the author of the article made it look like it was all one quote. Most likely, that was the intent of the author.

  5. Just now I opened the link and read the entire article. The article is a hit piece on Trump. Notice how the attempt is made to lay it all at the feet of Trump as they seek to blame Trump for creating constitutional concerns. Notice what is not said is how the media was tag teaming Trump non-stop for four years. It was the media and opposition to Trump which raised the issues, nay, they MADE the issues.

F'rinstance, the Emolument Clause. That was brought up several times. Just when it seemed to disappear it was brought up again. And it never went anywhere. But that didn't stop them from bringing it up. As most people did not know what that was about - most people hadn't ever heard of the Emolument Clause - they turned to the original source document, the Constitution, to learn.

Yet that so many people turned to the Constitution is now being bandied as 'speculative proof' that Trump was illegitimate. Opposition has being trying to make that case since at least July 2015. That Trump is out of office hasn't slowed the attacks.

  6. For those interested, Hillsdale College has a free online course on the Constitution. I've been going through it and although academic is very good.
