Brilliant. I've had some ideas for a pole in the backyard like that at :30. The dolly at :05 is something else I've thought about. Neat, thanks for putting this up.
Just to the left of the guy filling a bag is two others emptying their bags of sand on the ground so the guy has some sand to pick up with his new scooper.
that last thing, with the pipe and the seedlings, was done centuries ago in England by a guy who noticed that he was throwing a dozen seeds and birds ate ten. his name:
Jethro Tull.
the rock band of the same name was the first famous band with an all university educated crew.
Jethro Tull invented the precision seed drill. The modern ones are much bigger and are pulled by a massive tractor rather than a horse but they still work on the same principle of slotted wheels geared to the ground wheels.
Ian Anderson realised that he would never be more than a mediocre guitarist so he took his guitar to the music shop to trade it for something else. He saw the flute on the wall and just liked the look of it.
I enjoyed watching this. It's always nice to see people working hard and doing the best that they can will whatever resources that are available to them.
Eh, several of those methods were described in old farm books over here already... before "modern" tools were affordable - or even just available when needed, like all kinds of things that can't wait till the next run to town and back.
Given how the rest of the world has to be ingenious like this given their living conditions, the USA is pretty F'd with the leftie Dems in 'power' as they all like to say.
Git her done, genius.

Tim in AK
That last scene it looked like they were using modified surplus rifles... can anyone confirm that?
ReplyDeleteOld RPGs maybe?
DeleteThis would thrill your typical Leftie. Look at all carbon emissions they are saving!! They would rather eat dirt if it meant no one ate steak.

DeleteThis is life before technology and hydraulics and gasoline powered engines.
ReplyDeleteNotice that none of those people were fat.
Before technology people actually had to 'work'. The globalists want to take us back to that world, not them, just us.
We're going to have to relearn all this stuff if the Dims get their way and wreck the energy industries to save us from climate change.
ReplyDeleteHuman ingenuity on display
ReplyDeleteHuman power is cheap in communist countries. Think AOC would be doing any of that labor?
ReplyDeleteIsn't Communism awesome!
ReplyDeleteproof man can survive after an emp attack
ReplyDeleteAt least the strong men can, per Charles Darwin. And who needs weak ones anyway.

ReplyDeleteawesome vid...thx kenny
ReplyDeleteSave and take notes. We will probably be doing the same thing before long.
