TAHLEQUAH, Okla. (AP) — It is time for Jeep to stop using the Cherokee Nation’s name on its Cherokee and Grand Cherokee SUVs, the chief of the Oklahoma-based tribe said.
Where I worked, we once had a seventeen year old girl who hired on as a temp. Her name was Cheyenne. One day I asked her if she was named after the city in Wyoming or the Indian tribe. She said: "Neither. I'm named after the truck."
I know this young lady that has a vehicle that is all white and says it's a Cherokee. I told her she should call it Elizabeth Warren and she didn't get it, which was even funnier.
Unfortunately, most officials in tribal governments are liberals. Like most other minorities, they are addicted to government handouts. As a result, they are typically democrats.
Don't fuck with the wealthiest tribe in the nation.

The white man did NOT "steal" your land. They acted the same way towards you that you treated each other. When one tribe or clan hunted out an area, they moved to another area to hunt. If there was another tribe or clan already on that land, the migrating tribe/clan tried to "steal" it from them. The biggest difference was that the white man was technologically superior to all of the tribes, so the Indians got shoved off the land they were occupying. Bunch of whiney bitches, crying because they got beat at their own game.

It is sacred land, given us by Earth Mother." That has been used so long, the Indians probably believe it.
