Those wild and crazy Brits...

Rural communities have suffered a steep rise in hare coursing, with the RSPCA saying the growing involvement of gangs in wildlife crimes is a major factor in its decision to hand over its 200-year-old prosecuting powers to the CPS.

Dozens of rural landowners are being repeatedly targeted by gangs who gather to bet on the outcome of dogs chasing down and killing as many hares as possible.

  1. Nothing to do with us! These 'gangs' are almost all Gypos or Irish Tinkers and similar unwanted scum. The police are afraid to tackle them and so they do pretty much as they please. BTW, the RSPCA do NOT have special prosecuting powers, they just like to pretend they do when harassing old ladies over the number of cats they have; their so-called Inspectors are just regular citizens in fancy uniforms.

    1. Yep, hence the saying do as you likey when you're a pikey. Mind you a baling spike through the front of their 4x4 tends to put them off coming back. As does spraying the bastards with the muckspreader... .

  2. Ought to introduce the Brits to coyote hunting with hounds. When the prey is also predator there's some extra interest.

  3. If some threaten to hit you with a metal bar and burn down your farm, bust a cap in their ass.
