WHERE'S THE BEEF???

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A 1,500 pound cow escaped a slaughterhouse Friday and is roaming the streets of Rhode Island.

Workers with Rhode Island Beef & Veal said the steer escaped while it was being unloaded for slaughter, WJAR reported.

  1. I hope the cow remembered to change clothes after escaping, so that the authorities can’t easily identify the escapee! 🤪

  2. I saw a lone pig walking into town as I was heading home not long ago. If only I was driving the truck...

    2. Not a good idea, most vehicles will roll up and over pigs and destroy the carriage underneath. Learned from personal experience of a friend from Texas.

    3. Nah, NOT Hillary, far too good looking. In fact, it didn't even come close to looking feral. And, no, I would NOT hit it with a truck. For some strange reason, I do my best to avoid hitting things with me vehicles.

  3. I once worked less than five miles from downtown Los Angles in an area with seven packing houses. A steer got loose from one and was cornered by the police in our parking lot. Pistols, shotguns, what have you, that steer wasn't leaving. Several of my coworkers had to make emergency trips to the car wash because of all the blood splashed across their cars. I suppose Baker Commodities came and hauled it away once the lot cleared. Note - you do not want to get stuck behind a Baker Commodities truck on a hot day.
