Commentary: Democrats Declare War on Conservative Media
Henry Ford famously quipped, “Any customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black.” The Democrats take a similar view about what the public should be permitted to see on broadcast and cable networks. A Wednesday hearing conducted by the House Subcommittee on Communications and Technology made it abundantly clear that they believe we should be free to view anything we like so long as it fits the Democratic version of the “facts.” Titled “Fanning the Flames: Disinformation and Extremism in the Media,” the hearing was primarily devoted to testimony from “media experts.”

Henry Ford NEVER said that about black Ford cars. Why would he when his Ford cars came in several colors starting in the first years of Model T production and again toward the end of Model T production and ever since?

DeleteHe said that about his cars because paint dried too slowly, so he used a process called Japanning, which is a type of laquer with black carbon in it. That dried quick enough that he could produce cars on an assembly line and paint them during the process.
DeleteFast drying colored paint didn't really come out till the 30's. And was very expensive, which is why it was an option on new cars and there was an industry built around painting vehicles.
An I guess having someone who is pro-freedom of speech and the conservative media attend to counter any claims by the left isn't gonna happen. Just the left's chosen few. It seems to be a done dill, but they have to show that they are fair and had a fair hearing.

That author is gonna be really shocked when he hears how President Kennedy's trip to Dallas went! And definitely, nobody tell him about what happened to the Titanic - there's only so much the poor man's psyche can endure.
