No rhyme, no reason

Students can safely sit just 3 feet apart in the classroom as long as they wear masks but should be kept the usual 6 feet away from one another at sporting events, assemblies, lunch or chorus practice, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday in relaxing its COVID-19 guidelines.

  1. That's makes perfect sense; everyone with a Commie brain knows that you're twice as contagious if you're sporting, assembling, lunching,or singing. If you're doing two of these activities simultaneously, you must double that 6' distance. It's just simple math.

  2. I mentioned this to my wife Friday when it was on the news. Funny how the rules change to fit the problem at hand.

  3. I am skipping college unless this hoax is lifted. I have my sister's old college books and I capable of educating myself. Long ago, a degree used to be an indicator of intelligence, high IQ, and knowledge; now the college administrations are just riding on the coattails of the great men that went before them while cashing checks. Schools now teach only anti-American rhetoric, communist ideals, diversity, and how to conform to systems of control; bullying gets a pass but defending yourself is rocking the boat.

I would rather have employees that excel on intelligence and IQ tests since these are good indicators of success; knowledge is trivial to acquire for the intelligent.

    1. arc - you should check this out - exams on self-taught knowledge convert to college credits. there's a limitation on how many credits you can get this way, but it's a start.
It really depends on the school, profs. & field of study, but A & M was still a pretty conservative school 6 years ago.
And please pursue a STEM education if you have the aptitude; we have too many social workers & lawyers already.
