GREENSBORO, N.C. —
Flying into the Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina, Martin Hauser said his stomach was doing backflips.
It wasn't because of traveling during the pandemic or missing a layover. Waiting for him in the lobby was his long-lost brother.
suddenly it's dusty in here...
ReplyDeleteEyes watering...
Congratulations
ReplyDeleteHopefully the decision is still a good one in the future, family can become a love/hate relationship pretty easily.

I've met a few folks who have found their bio parents and siblings. Surprisingly or not, folks who have given their kids up for adoption are often a disappointment for the kids and kids appearing from your 20 year old past can be an awkward reminder of your past. Yep the pastors wife just might be a bit unappreciative when the kid she gave away when she was a 15 year old druggie shows up.
ReplyDeleteFrigging onions.
ReplyDeleteI knew an old man (family friend) who was brought here from Austria when his family was killed in WWII...through the magic of the internet, he found his brother.... they each thought the other had been killed.
ReplyDeleteI have an older brother I'd be willing to sell out or trade if anyone needs judged and little brothered for the next 20 or so years. If bullying and being berated is needed to put you on his path to your successful judgement maybe you might even find yourself asssucking teachers unions and democrats for fun.
