And you thought Blockbuster was ruthless...

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – A woman says she didn’t know she had a felony charge for over two decades for not returning a VHS rental.

Caron McBride says she found out she was charged with a felony when she changed her name on her driver’s license in Texas after getting married.

  1. "The DA could still prosecute"???? She should have lived in any of today's cities where the DA refuses to prosecute certain not-so-minor crimes-but only if you are on the right side of the fence politically.

  2. Felony for not returning a tape? What do they charge you for for not rewinding, just curious.

  3. Wonder if the previous DA is still around? I bet his retarded pervert brother ran the movie store, and waited until late fees hit $500.01 just to ruin peoples' lives.

  5. If she didn't know about the missing tape, how does she know she was turned down for jobs because of that charge?
