NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Governor Bill Lee announced the end of statewide public health orders Tuesday morning and signed Executive Order 80 to address economic and regulatory functions.
Executive Order 80 also ends the local authority to issue mask requirements in the 89 counties directed by the state health department. It will go into effect Wednesday at 12:01 a.m.
What?!?! Tennessee had mask mandates? What a bunch hooey! How the hell were they supposed to spit their tobacco juice out whilst wearing some fool mask? Next thing you're liable to say is they ain't allowed to make "hand sanitizer" in their own damned stills! Well I swan...

So now Tennesseans can go back to "dating" their cousins again?
ReplyDeleteHe needs to mandate the other counties, tis BS if he doesn't. New to Memphis area myself, can't stand these things
ReplyDeleteWaiting for Kemp to follow suit. The current proclamation in Georgia ends on 4/30 but I haven't heard anything new lately. When I lived in Tennessee, I felt that Georgia was less regulated but Bill Lee and Limp Kemp have changed my mind on that.
