Did Something Happen In Boulder?

I’m not as old as Grandpa Badfinger, nor as manifestly senile, but I still have only the vaguest notion that something bad happened last week in Colorado, and I can’t quite put my trigger finger on exactly what it was. It’s just a hazy recollection of how whatever went down was pretty much the fault of you and me, though the last time I was in the Centennial State I was passing through the Denver airport, which makes whatever happened being my fault seem implausible, but whatever. Facts and stuff are bourgeois conceits. The point is that I went looking through the media, because whatever it was that went down was a super-big deal for a while, and then – nothing. Nada. Zip.

I guess the media and the Democrat politicians forgot about what went down in Boulder too.

  1. Yeah, there is some rumor going on here, less than 10 miles from where I live, that there was 'some' guy looking for a city where running into a 2nd amendment-loving white terrorist CCW-carrying gun nut was as low as possible, and then shot and killed 'some' people. There also is a rumor that Air Force One was already taxiing on the runway when they figured out that the shooter was one of those people known to have 'done something' before back in 2001 and that for Buyden to fly out here to show his jubilation oops, sympathy, would hurt Obama's friends' feelings. So Air Force One turned around and orders were given to the media to never ever mention this again.

  3. What happened in Boulder is awful but what is even more awful is the fact that if they could, the left would have made a huge spectacle out of it.
Just came home from my local King Soopers here. There was a police officer at the entrance, just like yesterday and I am sure all week. I shook his hand and thanked him for his service to our community during these difficult times.
I am basically 8 miles from where this crap happened.

  4. What? A radicalized muslim shooting up a store with a large Kosher section doesn't fit the paradigm? What?...

Perhaps he will remember to disarm you last.
