We miss our German Shepherds - great protectors and friends
I had a pitbull cross once that had a pet kitten. She did the same thing, pick'er up by the head and walk around. Freaked people out, they thought she was eating the thing.
We had a lab and a Rott carry kittens around when we were fostering orphan kittens. They got slimed pretty good but no harm done.

Exactly why me and Pop always loved shepherds. This made me well up.Natural parents. The females especially territorial to the family.
