I'm shocked - shocked, I say

After almost a year of nonstop violent riots by Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and other far-left domestic terrorist organizations in the city of Portland, over 100 of the city’s police officers have quit the force out of protest of the city’s failure to adequately handle the violence, according to Fox News.

That's not a bug, it's a feature. The left/deep-state claim to hate the cops, but that's not true at all. They love guys with guns, as long as they control them. The relentless campaign to discredit and ultimately destroy law-enforcement organizations as they now exist is the necessary prelude to establishing "new" and probably federalized police forces who will be much more ideological in their orientation, and possess far-greater powers than legacy forces. Think of the NKVD/KGB, Stavka, or the old SS-Gestapo in Nazi Germany, and you'll be on the right track.

Like those regimes, our new communist masters will place place political officers and agents of the regime far-and-wide, right down to the local level, to ensure compliance with their directives and that the people's belief in the regime does not waiver. These agents will have vast powers of arrest, detention and punishment, independent of any other authority - and will answer only to the regime itself.

  2. No sympathy from me. None. And remember that Portland police certainly WILL arrest (already have) citizens for attempting to protect themselves from violent thugs. Zero respect for Portland police. None.

  4. I've been telling my cousin for the last two years to convince his kid to get off that force and find a nice deputy slot in eastern Oregon, like Morrow County, if he wants to be an LEO.
I suspect that he's just hanging on and going through the motions to get his 30.

  5. Can't wait to hear the stories of weenies getting roasted because cops could not get there in time.
