Let the games begin!

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. (Reuters) - Police fired tear gas and rubber bullets as angry protests erupted in a Minneapolis suburb after a 20-year-old Black man was shot dead during a traffic stop.

The unrest in Brooklyn Center came hours before the trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer charged with murdering George Floyd, was set to resume in a courtroom less than 10 miles (16 km) away on Monday.

  1. Someone change the channel, this show sucks. The propaganda theater in this country is pathetic but somehow effective. I am losing all faith in the intelligence of my fellow man. Clownworld all the way around.

  2. They couldn't even wait for the trial to end and a verdict be announced. I mean, yeah, they were going to riot either way. It's going to be an interesting summer. And on a somewhat related note, I see that one of the co founders of the terrorist organization blm has bought a 1.4 million dollar compound in a mostly white enclave outside of L.A.

  8. Police chief said his female officer probably fired by accident (ND) . There's going to be some serious rioting over this. The general public is getting pretty sick of this too, the looters may get more than they bargain for. Wait and see

  9. It's our sheriff dept policy that depuities are required to holster their tasers for a weak hand draw to make it impossible to inadvertently draw their service pistol when they go for their taser. This is why.
