Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte (R) has signed legislation that forbids state and local law enforcement from enforcing federal bans on guns, ammunition and magazines.

  1. Our legislators here are cowards. The backed down to the few democrats and tabled the bill that would have done the same thing here in Missouri.

  2. This only makes sense. State level legislators in shit hole states refuse to have anything to do with illegal immigrants, and their excuse is that its federal law.

  3. Looks like the NH House has sent a bill to the floor invalidating White House EO's on gun restrictions.

  4. Seems a lot like the kids telling the parents bedtime no longer applies.
No teeth, posturing by crooked politicians to placate simpleton voters. Might as well give $$$ to NRA

    1. Yeah, no. The states are not the federal government's "kids" and bedtime really does not apply. Simpletons or not, the voters should not be subjected to your parental fantasies.

    2. Post up some vids of the suppressed FA toys you assembled without the proper fed paperwork hiding behind this then. Your the one having fantasies about the validity of this posturing bullshit.

    3. Idiot, if not in the constitution or bill of rights all laws are left to the states. Eventually soon that will be enforced beauracy or not.

  5. That's all well and good, but unless Montana is planning to arrest federal agents trying to enforce their laws, this is nothing more than empty words.

    1. No. Empty words would be protesting Federal overreach and then having state and local law enforcement do the Feds work for them anyway. Arresting Federal agents amounts to trying to stop a steamroller by standing in front of it shouting, "Stop!" Unless you've got a lot of other states joining in, it would be as pointless and stupid as Massachusetts Bay Colony declaring independence from Britain after April 19, 1775 without any other colonies joining in. Montana is doing what's possible at this moment in time.

  6. My state and I am happy Gianforte signed it into law. A bill was sent to bullock (dem gov) last year and he vetoed it.

  7. Excuse me, anonymous, but the immature children are the one's running things.
That's the problem - not the NRA, or any of us that just want to be left alone to enjoy our lives as WE see fit.

  8. Very nice. The federal nullification movement continues forward.

  9. So, ignoring or voting to ignore Federal Law is a good thing when it comes to immigration law, but when it comes to Federal firearms rules and laws it is the apocalypse. Right

  10. So why the hell is John Tester still a Senator from that state?

    1. Evidence in Missoula county of fraudulent voting has begun surfacing. He should not have won his last election.

  11. Unless this law has language that MANDATES state and local LEO arrest and Prosecutors try any Fed LEO violating this law then it's a pointless display of political bullshit.

    1. Do you know who holds the real power here? It is not the feds nor the states. It is The People. The People must reclaim their full authority, by force if need be.
