Seriously, how gullible can you get?

NAPLES, Fla. – Naples police say they’re looking for a woman who offered witchcraft and spiritual services to victims as a way to get them to hand over massive amounts of cash.

All in all, the woman stole $100,000 from 10 different victims who responded to ads she placed in free Hispanic newspapers, on radio stations and flyers placed in laundromats, according to a report from the Naples Police Department.

  1. I see nothing wrong with this at all. A fool and his money SHOULD be parted since money is power. Why this is newsworthy is also a surprise - most towns have several 'fortune tellers' that have set up permanent shops for the suckers to visit, all perfectly legal. Not much difference here between this and campaign promises and political donations.

    1. Or online political donations that are auto-checked "pay weekly" and then "double my donation", with a later "Stop the Steal" campaign to pay the fraud cancellations back...

Vote harder, next time will fix everything.

  2. How gullible? As gullible as someone who believes the U.S. Treasury issues 1 million dollar notes.

  3. I was surprised at the amount of extra sensory belief in my in-laws. Witches, warlocks, herbs, chants, superstitions... And the more they believed it, the more it seemed to come true. I would've bet she'd got a million...
