We used to feed black bears in a dump just north of the Mackinac Bridge, back in the 1970's. Toss marshmallows to them. The got too tame, and they closed the dump down, and ran the bears out. But not before a car or two got some serious damage due to people trying to get the bears to come to close.
An almost F'ed around and found out moment. One does not eff around with wild animals, unless armed.
