Two men died in a Tesla crash in Spring, Texas, on Saturday night, and it appeared no one was behind the wheel, according to local police interviewed by reporter Deven Clarke at NBC affiliate KPRC 2.
The Tesla vehicle, a 2019 Model S, crashed into a tree and burst into flames, according to the reports. One person was found in the front passenger seat, and another in the rear passenger seat.
Thats a certain special kind of stupid.

"Drive straight".
"Yes master".
Tesla claim the car didn't have the autopilot feature. ok geniuses, how did it accelerate and slam into a tree with no one in the drivers seat?
ReplyDeleteSomebody else pointed this out somewhere I read, but these things burn so intensely with the new batteries when they're damaged the bodies are basically reduced to skeletons. So it's one potential way of eliminating evidence and covering up a crime with an accident scene. If you have the resources to do something like that.
DeleteWonder if Tesla uses a HAL 9000 computer?
ReplyDeleteNo names no photos only males 59 and 59 years old then I found out Dr. Varner was delivered to his own hospital. A 4 hour and 30,000 gallons of water, fire. I don't get people not knowing how lithium ion batteries burn. There are plenty of youtube videos.
ReplyDelete30,000 gallons of water, fire. You mean how water just adds fuel to the combustion process?

Requires "active driver supervision." Does that mean "Keep your hands on the f'n wheel"?
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell were they doing while the car was driving/not driving, no one asked...
