Shit, I was talking with the guy with the long beard just a couple three weeks ago outside the Piggly Wiggly.
My take on this is there was no "attempted murder"....if so, it would've been murder, because I highly doubt he would've survived....this looks like good ol' neighborhood justice....you know, in the days before the cops were given a chance to play with their weapons and a lot of things were taken care of by the neighborhood committee....we could accomplish a lot resorting back to this method....I give you Portland....
ReplyDeleteYou gonna put a lil on his commissary ?lol
ReplyDeleteThis is where shoot, shovel, and shut up should have came into play.
ReplyDeleteYep
DeleteYanno, for a small town, your's is pretty lively.
ReplyDeleteActually, it's pleasantly boring.
DeleteYou actually get to meet the perpetrators. That's small town charm.
Delete2 people can keep a secret if one of them is dead.......Mark Twain (yeah, I know, I butchered it)
ReplyDeleteI believe it's actually. 3 can keep a secret if 2 are dead.

And wasn't it Ben Franklin that said it?
DeleteThe DA is charging hard hoping that someone will scare, flip and testify against the others. Right now its the douches word against the 5 others. If they can stick together with their story they win
ReplyDeleteSeems to me the thief was just having a get to know ya moment and should be grateful for the education and not be a pussy. Next time he may not be able to talk about it.

Find it interesting they don’t mention what the supposed thief stole or his ethnicity. More to this story I’m guessing.

Attempted first-degree murder and yet only $100K bond?
ReplyDeleteSounds like the DA is over-charging to me.
