TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A New York man was arrested for allegedly fraudulently taking disability benefits after his wife posted pictures of him lifting weights on her Instagram page, Attorney General Letitia James said in a news release Friday.
From at least 2013 up until 2020, Anthony Ragusa received more than $200,000 in disability benefits from the Social Security Administration while owning a limousine business in New Hyde Park on Long Island, James said.
Fuckem
ReplyDeleteTime to start throwing the book at these assholes, then give them a proper South African necklacing in public. Fuck thieves -Bert
EEERRRR....I'm not going to be so quick to dismiss this fella as a slacker. So if he had an injury due to a fall at work....and then spent some time rehabbing and exercising to alleviate the pain; then good on him. At least he didn't get "hooked on pain killers".
ReplyDeleteNow, at first glance this looks like a typical scam artist; but I truly wonder.
The second and more overriding thought.....the guy was getting about $30,000 per year. That's a pittance compared to the amount of scam money that the Clinton's scarfed/stole from their "Hatti" fund. Or Hunter Biden snorted up his nose. Or Obama plain outright stole....or how about rev. Sharpton and his racket?
I suppose someone will cry that these examples aren't equal to the weightlifter; but hey, there are bigger fish to fry,and I suggest we get the oil a'boilin'
The road back from injury is long, hard, and full of ruts. I spent five years getting back. I didn't collect benefits though. Mine was denied even though I couldn't lift ten pounds without pain.
