Hell, I didn't even know a Rolls could do 177 mph

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WATE) – Two people were arrested outside of Chattanooga after troopers observed a stolen Rolls-Royce going 177 mph and attempting to carjack a second victim. 

The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a call from Georgia Highway Patrol on Tuesday about a stolen Rolls-Royce before THP Sergeant David McVey observed the luxury sedan speeding at 177 mph on I-24 in Marion County, Tennessee.

    The Rolls Royce Wraith model is rated to 624 Horsepower....they can move.

    Top speed is listed as 186 mph. Ya gotta have some balls or some special stupid to run a two and a half ton (5300 pounds) car at 177 mph. I'm thinking substances were involved. Too bad the Porsche driver didn't shoot the bastards and get it over with.

    They used to advertise that power was "adequate".
    But with a Rolls, you can bet it is safe with a big built in margin
