How in the fuck.....

An Indiana woman faces child neglect charges after investigators said her 4-year-old daughter nearly died from a lice infestation so severe doctors had to give her multiple blood transfusions.

Man, keep lice treatment on hand if you have kids, check your their heads regularly, wash their bedding in hot water and keep a clean fucking house. It's not that difficult.

  1. Using lavender scented shampoo-n-cream rinse also goes a long way in keeping lice from coming home from school. It also doesn't hurt to use lavender scented dryer-sheets either. My daughter had a classmate that had a lice problem. My daughter was the only one who didn't get them. I had several phone calls. I told them about a few drops lavender essential oil in the shampoo-n-cream rinse and their kids stopped having problems, too.

    1. I wish I'd known about that lavender treatment. My brother and his wife were keeping a foster child, and the little darling picked up lice during the summer at the YWCA children's day camp. Getting rid of the nits was a cast iron bitch.

  2. Lice-be-gone Kerosene works perfectly well and it's cheap, but only if the Colonial pipeline is flowing.

  3. We went through that crap 20+ years ago when youngest's school suffered an infestation of diversity from south of the border. We actually had to cut her hair back to 1/4 inch just to keep it in check. Every kid in the school wound up infested, and we finally threw in the towel and kept her at home until the school cleaned up it's act. Didn't know about the lavender oil, but used eucalyptus oil mixed with jojoba oil. Worked like a charm. Bright side was her auburn hair grew back so gorgeous she was able to twice donate gobs of it to a cancer society for wigs. Yeah, I'm proud of that sprite.

  4. Or ya wait u till you're at least outta high school, or college better yet, to have marital relatipns with anyone, marry your kids' momma BEFORE you git them sprogs even sparked much less born, work hard, save money instead of blowing paychecks on booze and ditchweed, and actually enable your dear wife (to whom you're still married) to be able to be a stay at home mother and homeschool teacher.
Solves more problems before they start than just head lice.

  5. I never had lice and my kids never did either. Mom taught me to avoid the dirty ones and I passed that on.

  6. I remember weekly checks for lice by the school nurse. I remember the teacher admonishing not to share hair combs or brushes. I didn't have that peoblem since I had a butch haircut, aka flat top aka high and tight.

  7. That story is from Scottsburg, Indiana's meth capital. I guess momma thought some things more important than raising her kids.
