Conservatives who are tempted to despair over the abrupt shift of major corporations into engines of left-wing culture war might want to take a look at Coca-Cola. Recent developments suggest that Coke is rethinking woke.
WIll never buy a coke product. Some of these companies are too easy to boycott. Goodyear, Gillette, Panera, etc. Don't need em. I won't cut my nose off but there are easy alternatives to these yahoos.
You can't un-ring a bell. Coke products are stacking up in the aisles at stores around here. I don't drink much soda but a lot of smaller beverage companies just want you to try them one time and Coca Cola swung the door wide open.
Yep, her in NW Indiana, Coke products are fully stocked and on sale and still can't sell 'em. Pepsi (not really much better woke-wise, but less blatant) and RC are nearly sold out...no discounting. Funny how that works, innit?
Reports got back to Atlanta about how much better Pepsi products were suddenly selling than their own. Nothing puts fear into the hearts of corporatists like stock values tanking and stockholders showing up with torches. 'Money talks, bullshit walks.'
Not enough SJWs & wokeifists to make up the consumer numbers when you piss off Mr & Mrs/Miss regular folks? Hate when that happens.... dumbasses. CEO should perform Seppuku/Hari-Kiri on live TeeVee before the board
Edit to add: I am baffled that despite years of companies, groups, organizations, etc 'Going Woke' & losing supporters & customers that this shit is still occurring. The Stupid is Strong with the Virtue Signalers. "Get Woke, Go Broke. It's the Real Thing."
Never again. I quit a while ago, and my blood sugar numbers improved. That high fructose corn syrup was never something the human gut was evolved to digest.
buy the stuff with the GREEN lid, the owners of America cannot drink corn (syrup) during Passover, the green lids are the brew made with sugar still. that is, IF you want to contribute to the "wokest" soda maker.
Both Coke and Pepsi are odious, predatory companies (ask your grocery store manager about how both companies push them around). But Coke is higher on the shit list right now. Not buying their products is good, but I think it is also useful to make it clear WHY you're not buying their stuff, if the opportunity arises.
Waitress: And what'll you have to drink? MC: What do you have that's not a Coke product?
This then goes one of two ways. If the waitress says "Dr Pepper" or "RC" (or whatever) then I order that and it ends. If she asks "Why do you ask?" then it's "Won't buy Coke, they're anti-white, and I don't like that." Sure, the waitress doesn't make policy, but word will get to the manager or the owner at some point. Enough people do it and Coke becomes a liability to the business.
Take a page from the leftists, keep hammering at enemies whenever the opportunity arises. It's worked for those fuckers, it'll work for us.
Coka Cola, RC 7-up Canada Dry, and Pepsi I think, all own shares of Dr. Pepper. Certain companies can only sell in certain regions, kinda like the drug trade. I know this because I worked for one of the above bottlers for 18 years. Ohio Guy
Do they have Harry's razors in the US? They have a scheme were you sign up and they send you a little box of shaving supplies every few months. You can change the frequency of delivery to suit how many you use. I signed up when Gillette started doing ads basically saying that all men are sexist bigots. I recently noticed that Gillette were advertising a Harry's style scheme of their own.

ReplyDeleteNo they are NOT! Just going to be more subtle about it. CEO hasn't change or backtracked any of his statements.

ReplyDeleteHypocrites all. Boards of Directors vote against all this on a company's proxy statement.
ReplyDeleteHaven't had a overpriced, sugar laden, carbonated water, syrup product in years and don't miss them one bit so Fuck Em no matter what they say.
