It was nice knowing ya, Colorado

(The Center Square) – Lawmakers in Colorado’s Senate advanced three bills this week that seek to address gun violence – bills that have seen support and opposition break down along party lines.

Each bill passed the Senate State, Veterans, and Military Affairs Committee by a party line vote of 3-2, with Republican members Sen. Cleave Simpson, R-Alamosa, and Sen. Jerry Sonnenberg, R-Sterling, voting no.

  1. If the rural sheriffs refuse to enforce the city slickers' new laws, as they have the magazine bans, those laws will get no results except on a few white shooters, non-members of Antifa or BLM, of course, who run out of luck.

  4. Bingo! The Centennial State continues it's slide down that slippery slope. For all intents and purposes CO is now basically the East Coast of Kalifornia.

  6. I'm just a Georgia Redneck, but I keep wondering where are the descendants of the pioneers who settled some of the Western states.

    1. We're still here, but we've always been few as in rural. Idaho has for most of my 65 years had a population under 1 million people. In less than 25 years We're now approaching 2 million. Calif. Barely noticed the loss of population it has taken to turn us purple
And it just continues. Dont let anyone tell you it's just conservatives fleeing calif. Besides a calif. conservative is an Idaho Democrat. A great way of life is disappearing right before my eyes.140 yrsof my family's tradition and culture are dieing. I miss it so. Those coming in can't wait to pass on its grave

  7. Yep, we are outta here before the snow flies this year.

Couldn't get the place we wanted on the eastern KY/TN border, so we are ozark bound.

We don't regret it though, as TN is being invaded by the wrong kind of Californians (our good host most certainly excepted) and KY is full of the wrong kind refugees from Virginia, and they are all going to bring their voting habits with them.

  8. And in the meanwhile crime rates here in my used-to-be-safe small Colorado town are going through the roof.

  9. Yep, Kinda hard to pickup and move all the cattle, machinery, improvements, water rights etc because shitstain front range has gone commie. Eastern plains and western rural have the commies hemmed in somewhat but the bastards keep spreading their stain outwards. They have no idea how their feral pooches, trash, city lights, crime & legislation etc are pissing us off. However, it will be all bets off when the soon to be next 2008 crash sends them packing and the section 8 federal squatters move into their place. Musical chairs and a come-to-Jesus-time. Hogs and backhoes. Rural vs metro men, happening everywhere, no permanent escape in any state, theater near you'uns.
