NYPD cop’s dog slept in heated room while son froze in garage

RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (WPIX) — Former NYPD officer Michael Valva wiped tears from his eyes as a family housekeeper recounted the harrowing last minutes of his 8-year-old son’s life at the pre-trial hearing in his murder case Monday.

But there was a brief moment in the testimony of housekeeper Tyrene Rodriguez that almost escaped notice.

  3. Hell holds a special place for those who hurt kids and old people, but we living have the opportunity for fitting punishment and to send them on their way. The father and his girlfriend should be placed outside, naked, during a below-freezing night in January until such time as their bodies reach ambient temperature.

  4. I for one am wondering where all the boot lickers are declaring the cop innocent due to how “rough he has it on the job” come on, step up! Or is it the “just one bad apple” bullshit YET AGAIN.

  6. My neck of the woods, Long Island. "Appearances" must be kept up. And autistic children are just...complicated. I hope this scumbag rots in jail for 4 decades and then faces his REAL fate on judgment day.

Someone asked me a long, long time ago if I honestly thought I could pull the trigger on another living, breathing human being.

Oh yes. I could pull that trigger.
