MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Tennessee man is accused of shooting and killing a boy he found in his daughter's room, according to police statements in an arrest affidavit.
John Moore, 56, is charged with second-degree murder in the deadly shooting on May 6 in the 1730 block of Edward Avenue near Hyde Park.
Was he a jogger?
ReplyDelete"....fighting for justice..." means Big.Ass.Payoff.
ReplyDeleteFrom who? I'm thinking John Moore doesn't have a whole lot of excess cash and some attorney is going to soak that up.
DeleteWhy is it when this happens the dead guy is always described by family as good, caring, funny, trying to turn his life around, blah, blah, blah.........?
ReplyDeleteHe dindu nuffin.
DeleteAnother promising rocket surgeon cut down in his prime before his time.
DeleteClear case of the chimpout got the shrimpout
ReplyDeleteDude might have been the daughter's boyfriend? How many of us have gotten caught by a parent.
ReplyDeleteGood for dad. Too bad junior chose poorly.
ReplyDeleteOne time when I was 16, I had a girl's father call me after he found out I had been visiting his daughter after hours. He said we needed to talk. I'm still here so you can imagine what my answer was.
ReplyDelete"Moore allegedly found an underage boy in his daughter's bedroom and a fight broke out."
ReplyDeleteSounds like a clear cut case of self defense and defense of family and home.
But the fight (and home defense) was over when the kid trued to bag ass out of there.
DeleteWhile I'm sympathetic to his reaction, the law isn't on his side.
I guess dat ass was to die for after all.
ReplyDeleteWe need more info, but my gut reaction says charging Mr. Moore is a gross over reach, prosecutorial misconduct and a travesty of justice.
ReplyDeleteThis is the Way.
ReplyDeleteFucked around and found out!
ReplyDeleteJury Nullification.
ReplyDeleteIf enough FATHERS did this often enough we wouldn't have the PLAGUE of fatherless bastards we are afflicted with.
ReplyDeleteMr. Moore just saved someone from being car-jacked at gunpoint by young JP a couple years down the road.
ReplyDeleteAs always, NASA's future astronaut corps hardest hit.
