Troy Industries faces backlash over handling of anti-gun hires

It’s tough to watch a good company inexplicably damage their brand.

Until very recently, Troy Industries had an excellent reputation in the shooting sports community as a manufacturer of quality accessories for the M4/M16/AR-15 family of firearms.

  1. The backlash has already been on the back burner. Let's watch for it to ignite. Mark my words, Troy will 'fire' the heathens and say, 'they don't work here any longer'. And that will be somewhat true, because Troy will keep them on as independent contractors.

Horiuchi didn't kill, he murdered. They seem to not understand that.

  2. From 2013? Interesting to see how that article has aged in the last 8 years.

  4. "Monroe was a former FBI HRT sniper that played a small role in the debacle at Ruby Ridge."

Yeah, right. Kind of like the role W. Joseph Astarita played after the murder of LaVoy Finicum, ordering his 'team' to pick up their fired brass and then lying about it.

There are no 'small roles' for any member of an FBI Hostage Rescue Team. They're all paid assassins that do what they're told with zero regard to the oath they took.

    1. Every Snipper-spotter team I've known, the spotter calls the shot and the snipper pulls the trigger. Both are culpable.

I'm sure they'll get a warm welcome as word of this kerfuffle spreads.

    1. Stories like this never get old. Remember Lon Horiuchi's affiliation with H-S Precision?

Companies with the poor judgement of companies like Troy Industries and H-S Precision don't deserve the patronage of hard working, law abiding Americans. And the more people that learn about that poor judgement the better, even if it's 10 years after the fact.

  9. I screwed up the other day when I posted concerning Troy industries hiring the Ruby Ridge shooter. I had two articles open (yes, they have screwed the pooch more than once), and I copy pasted Jody Weis' name instead of the human turd "Monroe." Weis is a former police commissioner of Chicago. Mea Culpa.
