We almost bought a place in Kentucky last month with a driveway crossing a creek like that. Unfortunately 35 of the 40 acres were vertical hillside and unusable. Looking at this, I'm glad we didnt.
#10. A friend said his father was at a sale barn in the Texas Panhandle when a 2,000+ pound bull got loose. The friend's father's horse was saddled and nearby, so he mounted and went after the bull. A successful roping ensued, with the rope around the saddle horn. The bull shucked the saddle from the horse, rider accompanying the saddle on its journey through the air and to the ground. The rider went to the hospital. The bull was encircled and convinced to return to the holding area.
#9: Common sight here in the Mountains. Usually Yankees movin' down to get away from their crumbling roads infrastructure up north.
ReplyDeleteEven worse when you get down in the foothills

It looks like the tide went out... It'll be back.
DeleteMaybe the tide went out. Maybe it got caught in a flood and the water receeded.
