I remember a trip to Barbados once when one of the women in the gang went down to the beach at night for a swim. The next morning she was chatting with the housekeeper and mentioned this and the housekeeper gave her a severe scolding. "The big fish come in to the beach at night to eat the little fish and the things that eat the big fish come in to get THEM! NEVER swim in the ocean at night! NEVER!"
Conditions have to be right but top water fishing is the best. Very few things in life are as much fun as a largemouth bass top water strike.
