Letters From a D.C. Jail

This week, five Republican senators sent a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland regarding his office’s handling of January 6 protesters. The letter revealed the senators are aware that several Capitol defendants charged with mostly nonviolent crimes are being held in solitary confinement conditions in a D.C. jail used exclusively to house Capitol detainees.

Joe Biden’s Justice Department routinely requests—and partisan Beltway federal judges routinely approve—pre-trial detention for Americans arrested for their involvement in the January 6 protest. This includes everyone from an 18-year-old high school senior from Georgia to a 70-year-old Virginia farmer with no criminal record.

  2. There is no possibility of them being convicted of anything. So they are holding them until they "confess". In the mean time, they are being punished for the crime of voting for Trump.

    1. Yep, political prisoners like in Cuba, Venezuela, Honduras or Mexico. I hate the path that this country is taking and I wish 10 million conservatives would descend on DC and oust all of those crooked, cheating, lying libwrals.

  4. If Kamala and the rest of the leftarded can donate money and have AG’s free blm antifa brown shirts, why can’t Trump and the rest of the Republicans get these people out? Solitary confinement is being used as a psychological weapon. And an example to the rest of us who believe in The Constitution. Go against the machine and this will happen to you too.

    1. I read that 16 members of one man's family offered a judge 15 million in bail and the judge refused. They are being detained as an example to the rest of us. This ALL will not end well.

  5. We need to write our representatives and demand action for these prisoners. I chewed my rep’s ass just now in an email.

  6. They are letting all of us know how horrible it is to be an American. The list of atrocities done to these political prisoners is just a warning to the rest of us.

Unfortunately for the dc powers, most of us have taken the stance that if they are going to abuse us at will, we might as well do something deserving of this abuse.

If ya gonna step off the porch, best make it count.

  9. It was the plan all along. It’s not a bacon tree, it’s a ham bush. They are using these people as examples to keep us sheaple in line. Looks like it’s working. Makes me want to puke. Lost our way, we have. Eod1sg Ret

  10. According to Tucker Carlson there is at least one undercover FBI agent, not jailed of course, who gave material support and organization suggestions and instructions to the so called "leadership" of the event (I'm not calling it a riot or an insurrection because the event was neither).
