Pistol Braces to be under NFA... NEW DOJ ANNOUNCMENT!!!

ATF Released New Proposed Pistol Brace Rules

WASHINGTON D.C. –-(Ammoland.com)- On Monday, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) released its proposed rule on pistol braces.

It starts by saying that any brace that the manufacturer intends to be fired from the shoulder will be considered a short-barreled rifle (SBR) and subjected to the National Firearms Act (NFA). The document further creates a points system that would allow the ATF to make most pistol braces SBR.

    1. I hope it works different in Idaho...I asked a state senator here in MT about that-would you protect me if I had a 14.5" rifle?
      He said no.

    On (pick a day a yr), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) released its “Proposed” Rule on BATFE ACCESS to ANY and ALL 4473’s and A&D Books with No Investigatory Reason Needed.

    This Shall Also Include Digital Copies of ALL Cloud Based and Premises Based Servers that contain Electronic 4473’s and A&D books of the Business being Inspected, said the anonymous ATF Source.

    They also added..
    This is being done to bring about the Ease we here at ATF Need to have a Database to Support the Nee UBC DATA Center currently under contruction. With out this Mew Safety Proposal UBC Checks will not be as effective as ATF agents need to support Public Safety.
