Push button rear diff locker. My 4WD Toyota truck has that. Keeps the tire in the air and tire with traction at the same RPM. Really handy when you get stuck on one side. You can install one in a 2WD truck. Some of the Toyotas have them front and back.
Damn good truck. I've owned Nissan for many years. Started with a Datsun in the seventies during the gas crisis. Sold my last muscle car at the time. Then went to Nissan. I don't ride around and look pretty in my trucks. I work the damn things like a beast of burden. My opinion, ya can't beat em.
My first vehicle I bought was a Datsun, and so was my second. Then when I was in my 20's I moved up to a brand new Toyota 4WD. All very good little trucks that run forever with maintenance and oil changes.
My 06 Titan has got 240,000 and still kicks ass. Best truck I've ever had, used to be a F250 guy but had some really bad luck with the last one and the dealer shit on me.
The new Tacoma is beautiful but you can spend close to $50K for a teed out one. Are you fookin' kidding me?
I had a 06 Titan with over 200 on it. I left the mainland and gave it to a neighbor that didn't have a whole lot. That was six years ago and he is still driving it as his primary and only vehicle.
I've owned every major truck brand. I work it like a beast of burden too. It better produce like all the other tools or it gets gone like all the badly tools do.
My company truck is a 2013 Titan with 220k on it. Of course, my personal truck is a 2004 F150 with 242k. I just took my other personal truck, a 25-year-old Silverado inherited from my Dad, on a 1900-mile round trip for a Florida vacation. It's only got 97k on it, though. --Tennessee Budd

ReplyDeleteAnd we all know people that would stick a 4x4 post under there and go to work on the exhaust system.
ReplyDeleteEvery truck has the potential to be a piece of crap if it's properly abused and neglected. Also true for corporations...
