  1. Let's see, how many NFA violations do we see here? Also, where can I get one?

  5. In high school I attended the Michigan State Police academy for a week, as a hands on learning experience. They showed us the various home made firearms that they had confiscated from criminals. The one that really stuck in my head is the 12 gauge shotgun that was made from pipe, that was able to be hidden in your hand. I can't imagine actually shooting something that small, with that kind of an explosion, sitting in your unprotected hand. They did tell us that many times, the improvised weapons were made not for use, but to sell to other criminals.
Of course, now, they just buy guns off the street, somehow, and buy decent quality guns. Or, if you are a Democrat, they just use the famous gun show loophole, and buy all the guns they want.

    1. in the 60's in Detroit I saw zip guns made with, if I remember correctly, car antennas. Never actually saw one fired and don't remember exactly how the firing mechanism worked. A buddy made a pocket sized shotgun out of galvanized iron water pipe. I thought it was going to blow up so I left, it didn't, but it wasn't very controllable

  6. Pigpen, back in the '90s, Bibb County Sheriff's Office confiscated a 12ga shotgun made of rolled up magazines. They took it to a range and tested.

    It worked.

They had a whole wall display of contraband they'd found in the jail over the years. Never saw so many different sorts of homebrewed tattoo guns.

  9. Some years back I was at the talkin' picture show. There weren't many people, this being an afternoon show, but some SOB and his slut sat behind me - then he put his feet up, resting his size 14s in the crevice between the two chairs, right next to my head.

I sat there a moment thinking how nice it would be to have a little device like this one. Place the barrel an inch or so away from the bottom of his dirty damn' tennis shoe, and - POW!

One shot, even with a .22 short, would give him a brand new hobby and by the time he and his dumb ass wife figured out what was going on, my mother's favorite son would be walking out the emergency exit.

Where can I buy one of these little monsters?

  10. In the Tom Clancy BOOK "Without Remorse", John Clark makes a shotgun ... i forget what he called it. Basically, you had the shell in a pipe w/ a handle. Ram the pipe into someones stomach, the handle hits the pin, "BOOM". All slightly muffled by the fact its pushed up against someone.
