Your Tuesday Morning Florida Report

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A judge has rejected the “stand your ground” defense of a Florida man who said he beat an iguana to death only after it attacked him, biting him on the arm.

PJ Nilaja Patterson, 43, must stand trial on a felony animal cruelty charge, Palm Beach County Circuit Judge Jeffrey Dana Gillen ruled recently in denying the unusual defense, the South Florida SunSentinel reported.

  1. So, is the judge trying to set a precedent so that when humans are attacked by other semi human animals, Floridians won't be able to use the stand your ground defense?

  3. Wait, there's whole videos of iguana shooters shooting iguanas, and others of iguanas and tegu attacking just about everything.

They're such a plague that you don't need a hunting license to hunt them.

Fucking judge. West Palm Beach... Betcha the judge is a flaming democrat.

    1. I have to agree with you. If you're going to kill anything, kill it cleanly and quickly.
