Extreme Whack-a-Mole

A person trying to lift a manhole cover in Panorama City over the weekend died when a truck drove over the lid and the driver did not stop, police said Monday.

The incident occurred along Parthenia Street about 10:25 a.m. Saturday as the person underneath tried to get out, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

  1. The article mentioned a reward fir apprehension and conviction. What? It is not clear that the driver even knew anything happened. Hit and run? In what world would that be justifiable under the circumstances?

  2. We have a moron playing in the storm drains where he doesn't belong. We have a normal person just driving along who runs over a manhole cover..... something that MILLIONS of drivers do every day.....causing said moron to fall and die. And what do the criminals in power want to do? Find the driver so they can DESTROY that person's life for "felony hit and run"......when it's a virtual certainty that the driver NEVER KNEW what happened. All the drive knows is he hit a manho!e cover that made more noise than most. We are RULED BY EVIL PEOPLE.

  3. After hearing about a death of a person playing with a man-hole cover, a LawEnforcementOfficials spokes-model -- and trained investigator -- known as 'captain obvious' issued a press-release stating:
    * "...playing with man-hole covers can result in injury or death..."
    .
In the press-room, investigative reporters silently wondered:
    * 'does he mean what I think he means', then rushed to join their colleagues at the free buffet
