Sounds like the peacock fucked around and found out
A peacock that had been a staple in a California neighborhood for years was found shot dead — after someone posted a Craigslist ad taking out a hit on the bird, local reports said.
The online posting went up on June 13, a little more than two weeks before the peacock — nicknamed Mr. P or Azul — was apparently killed in Humboldt County, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.
Wonder how much taxpayer money the sheriff will waste on this and how much grief they intend to cause the person they think posted the ad.....some people have TOO MUCH free time and not enough real responsibility.
Peacocks are better 'country doorbells' than yard geese are, and they're nicer looking too. But they can be mean, in a stupid way. Your dogs and cats won't like them.
Reminds me of when our offer on our house was accepted (1996) and my wife took my sister out to drive by the house. They came back and said there's Peacocks running around the property.
I knew they were nuts and after moving in, the Peacocks came back - except they were wild Turkeys!!!
Had something on Hillary?
ReplyDeleteThat seemed painless...now let's try some political birds...

ReplyDeleteI can't blame 'em. Those frickin' birds can be heard two miles away.
ReplyDeleteThey are all white meat and their drumstick is a foot long. Tough though. Cook 'em long and slow
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, a group of fed up peacocks are organizing in the same area to continue the cause of their fallen brother. PLM Ohio Guy

City folks...
They are loud as an airhorn, crap as big as a dog, and fight their reflection in the side of your car. Snuff em.
