That pistol looks like a Makarov, so.... Eastern European country or Russia? I see several safety issues here.... one, she had the hammer back on what she THOUGHT was an empty chamber... NOT. Then she forgot the retention lanyard. And that half-assed way she was unloading the magazine... what can I say. Newbie on the job? Drunk while on duty? Who knows?
Since she was carrying a Makarov I DOUBT she's a protected class. She's in Russia or some of the former soviet republics. I saw her "Eject" the round WITH the Magazine IN and said Oh My....
Had several female soldiers, E-4s and NCOs, in Iraq who could not unload a weapon...They were not mine but would go out with us if we were headed to a place they needed to go. By the time I finished they could do it in their sleep! I thought about going to their NCO, but she was one of them.
Watched way too many people, from an MP with an M-16, through on of "K's" chosen ones do exactly that. Idiots need to put it against their heads to check them. Should be part of the curriculum...'verify, put in mouth, pull trigger'. Would remove a lot of stupid ones from the gene pool.
I would assume the one watching was supposed to be experienced and make sure the unloading was being done safely. Well, looks as if they need somebody to watch the watcher too.
remember my guys coming back from iraq and the soup nazi demanding they open the bolt on their weapons. no words could convince that idiot that the weapons fired on an open bolt and safe carry was with bolt closed.
“This is a Glock 40. Fifty Cent, Too Short, all of them talk about a Glock 40, OK? I’m the only one in this room professional enough that I know of to carry this Glock 40.”
::BLAM!!!::
She made me nervous the second she fumbled it out of her holster.
This is NOT a gender problem but it IS a TRAINING problem. My daughter is one of the safest I've seen (and that's coming from listening to other shooters on her). BUT she was TRAINED to THINK the process through EACH time. The most dangerous operators of weapons (IME) are military and police.
The safest operators of weapons (IME) are new shooters who are women. They do EXACTLY what they're taught. (IF they weren't taught it, its NOT their problem but the instructors). Guys on the other hand, even new shooters, invariably will say "Uncle Bob told me to do X".
Ought to lose her job, but protected class nowadays.
ReplyDeleteMust be Stu Pedass’ daughter.
ReplyDeletePromotion coming her way !
ReplyDeleteI saw that coming !
ReplyDeleteHow is it so hard to do the process correctly???
I would be ninja punched just for being that timid.
ReplyDelete-arc
Saw that one coming. Racked the slide, THEN removed the magazine.
ReplyDelete"Where's that other bullet?"
BANG!
"Oh. There it is..."
Geez, it's like one of the plot twists out of a Dirty Harry movie. Kid finds gun, removes mag, shoots friend.

ReplyDeleteJesus fuckin christ, is that some of the multitasking I hear men can't do but woman can. That was beyond pathetic.
ReplyDeleteShe cleared the round in the chamber, but she hadn't' taken the magazine out. She is not qualified to carry that weapon.

ReplyDeleteSaw the same thing in Kuwait, and for some reason it was usually females.
DeleteFemales or Butter-Bars. Only ND in a rotation in Bosnia was a NG 2LT.
DeleteThen came the over-reaction...
Affirmative action cop?
ReplyDeleteAnd the commies think we should have training in firearm safety 🙄

As if she wasn't DQ'd enough already for "Girls with Guns" over at 90 Miles...
ReplyDeleteCrazy Russkis.
ReplyDeleteI saw this coming.
She had no idea what she was doing; and her supervisor-muppet just stood there fully asleep on her feet.
They both should
ReplyDeleteIf you don't release the magazine before you cycle the chamber you keep loading the weapon.
ReplyDeleteThe magazine will do what the magazine does.
DeleteArticle 15 for negligent discharge..
ReplyDeleteREMOVE THE MAGAZINE BEFORE YOU RACK THE SLIDE. And you don't check if it's loaded by pulling the trigger(unless you are stupid).
ReplyDeleteDid anyone *NOT* see that coming?
ReplyDeleteI would assume the one watching was supposed to be experienced and make sure the unloading was being done safely. Well, looks as if they need somebody to watch the watcher too.
ReplyDeleteFound It!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I reckon I wasn't the only 'right wing extremist' here watching that video that was thinking to himself "Was there one in the chamber?"
ReplyDeleteThen my next curiosity was "How many leftists know what a "chamber" is?
Then she just stood there holding her ears. You want to pretend you're a man then Man the f up.
ReplyDeleteFvck it, Ill say it........
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS EXACTLY WHY WOMEN SHOULDN'T BE LEO'S OR COMBAT MILITARY.
Can't blame it on gender - I've seen a lot of men do equally stupid shit and not just with guns.
Deleteas clint Eastwood said "very fashionable"
ReplyDeleteOH, there it is..... Dumbass.
