Since the novel coronavirus began its global spread, influenza cases reported to the World Health Organization from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres have dropped to minute levels. The reason, epidemiologists think, is that the public health measures taken to keep the coronavirus from spreading—notably mask wearing and social distancing—also stop the flu. Influenza viruses are transmitted in much the same way as SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, and they are less effective at jumping from person to person.

Two points - One) The spread of ALL infections, bacterial or viral, happens when the infected person is allowed to mingle with individuals that do not have the antibodies or robust enough immune system to fight off said infection. SO, staying home, when sick, works and will cut the number of colds, flu, chicken pox and pink-eye. Two) And this is where your point is very valid. When gunshot wounds are counted as SARS-CoV-2 death (looking at you Colorado) it is all about money and power.

If the reporting was honest, South Dakota and Florida would be riddled with flu cases, they are not. Everything became a covid death. You know it as do most of your readers.

I call BS the Federal Government pays MORE TAX DOLLARS PER COVID CASE than it does per Flu case.

Spot on Wirecutter. $39k for each vent patient. That's a real highway to hell. A friend of ours got put on one after a surgery cut a little too deep. We were really afraid we would lose her. I'd say it was a real case of "prayer works". Don't let people in white coats put your loved ones on a ventilator.

Bullshit, they traded one sickness for another. Worldwide deaths are right on part with any other year. You'll never be able to go to work sick again. We are in a medical police state, only way to stop it is stop testing for a disease so deadly you have to be tested to know you have it.
