"Whoops, my bad"

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) - Metro Police arrested a man for a shooting in the J.C. Napier public housing area on July 7. 

Now detectives are saying the shooting may have been a case of mistaken identity. 

Police said 33-year-old Derrick D Holt is charged for supposedly misidentifying and shooting a 39-year-old victim in the groin, believing the victim to be someone else.

Damn, right in the dick, too. I bet Homeboy's pissed as hell at Derrick right now.

    Surely, the perpetrator should be released due to his "mistake". I mean, the charge itself carries the modifier mistaken. How can an otherwise gentle and peaceful citizen be treated in our society, a hotbed of white supremacy and systemic racism so pernicious that it clouded the judgement of this fine, upstanding citizen and drove him to this justifiable act of desperation?

    The round took off half his dick, but he says he won't miss 8 inches and it might just grow back. Defending the shooting the cop used the same old excuse: "Hell they all look alike".
