His Ring surveillance camera app alerted him to some movement in his driveway, which turned out to be a thief stealing his truck. Bassett was even more surprised when the thief came back – not once, but twice – while police were on the way.
"I would label him very bold," Bassett said. "I mean, he took the time to sit down on a swing set and drink a beer. He even stole cigarette butts out of an ashtray. I mean, who would do that?"
What I want to know is just why in the hell does he keep his beer in the garage? WTF?
ReplyDeleteSo, was this guy at home during this?
ReplyDeleteApp alerts him, sees video of the thief IN HIS HOME grabbing keys after breaking in through a window, and calls the cops AFTER the thief gets in his truck?
Was he naked in bed expecting to get anally abused and only called when he was scorned?
WTF?
I don't know Ky law but around here the odds are that the thief would have been shot, or atleast held at gun point for the police to haul away.

IT WAS NOT TEXAS. I do believe he would have been looking a the daisy's from the bottom side.
DeleteWhat took him so long to call the Popo? Timeline not apparent, but seems quite a bit of time elapsed before the police arrived.
ReplyDeletedid you guys watch the news clip? he was at work. Not alerted until the dip shit thief rolled off in his truck. Great police response time. the thief returned to the scene of the crime too more times and got away before the cops finally left the donut shop and arrived on the scene.
ReplyDeleteWhy would we watch the video, the comments are better when we don't

The question i ask: what good is self-survalliance (those ring systems are watching the residents more than the odd home visitor) that doesnt alert you until your valuables are rolling down the driveway!
DeleteTimothy Bassett, apparently raised by women.
ReplyDelete"I mean, he drank beer! I mean, who does that!,
Lacking in the press-release is a description of Timothy's quivering chin and fluttering hand-lets.
