I thought she was going to be the catch of the day by losing her footing and going over the side. Her experience catching and netting is impressive and her excitement is great to see.
Would love to know who she is and marry her. She knew what she was doing. Rod tip at the surface upon hooking. Net handling even though I call that cheating except I give here a pass, well because that's why.
You don't use light tackle with big bass. They're big for a reason - they'll wrap you around a rock or branch every damned time and you need tackle heavy enough to horse them out of that shit. I use 20 or 30 pound braided line and a medium/heavy baitcaster when I'm going after bass.
Nothing beats the sound of braid running thru metal guides. Everyone within earshot knows a whopper is doing it. Looks like Powell?
ReplyDeleteI was sure she'd lose her top. What my minute back.
ReplyDeleteThat’s one big bucket mouth! Nice job!
ReplyDeleteDamn, that was a real hawg of a bass. Handeled the net like aa pro.
ReplyDeleteWell done.
ReplyDeleteShe knew what she was doing for sure. Also, looking good and keeping very fit.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a horse.

ReplyDeleteA REAL (non Plastic Boob-job) GOOD Woman! She's a Keeper for some lucky gentleman!
ReplyDeleteMan what a catch, both of um!!! Looked like she was running solo on that trip from the video. Just wow!!!
ReplyDeleteSaber 7.
Good catch on all fronts.
ReplyDeleteThe Bass God smiles on her. Ohio Guy
ReplyDeleteWOW! In both instances. She got SKILLS. Nemo

ReplyDeleteWhatever happened to light tackle? For a bass that size 8lb. test would've been a lot of fun. Probably would have lost it on the rocks, but still...
ReplyDeleteI fished Steelhead with 4lb. test on a 11' noodle rod. Try pulling in a 20lb trout on that!

i like the braided 20lb test with the 4-6 diameter...easy to cast small to medium lures for distance...
DeleteThat's a big one. Bass too!
ReplyDeleteNice boat. I wonder is she's single. ;-)
