Dealt with a lot of #10 recently, luckily not for me personally. Almost 10" of rain in a short period of time. Saturated ground and no place for it to go. Many long time residents said they have never seen anything like it. The damage was only eclipsed by the 1938 hurricane.
#9 happened to me in Las Vegas once.I was walking down the street,it was about 105 out and the sole just came right off. And they were a brand new pair of shoes to boot!
For them the item is made perfectly if it lasts long enough to be bagged and make it home with you. Unless it's electrical, then if it catches fire and burns the whole house down, which means that you now have to buy replacements for everything in the house (from China); then it's perfect.
#9 sole off the shoe happened to me last winter as I'm walking back from the mail box in 2" of snow. I've had that pair of boots for about 40 years, so they don't owe me anything. It's just karma that these things happen when you need them most.
#1 - The car is a Tesla. And while (mostly) blotted out, the edges look like a mAssachusetts plate.
#3 - there's a well-documented issue with Toyota trucks doing this on a regular basis. Some years ago a buddy of mine rec'd a check for $16,000 for his troubles
I walked in front of a Percheron horse once, when it sneezed on me. I was probably 10-12. I was covered head to toe in snot. Not quite as bad as cow shit, but still no fun.
Six: . We were pet-sitting a pair of Pug dogs. Anytime we entered the front door, the otherwise lax male ran partway up the stairs... and sneezed on us. . He refused to move from in front of his chow bowl, claiming multiple age-related infirmities, but soon as he heard the keys in the lock, he was a stair-climbing rocket.
#3 - Surprised it wasn't a Toyota. I've had two Tacomas that had their frames rust out.
First one was a total loss (with 100,000 miles and 15 years on it). The second one was a 2010 with 60,000 miles. They replaced the the entire frame on them...
Don't ask why I bought the second one... At least she's still going strong.
