I saw a news article recently about a severe Turkey shortage for this coming Thanksgiving. Looks like the kids parents saw the same news and found a non-frozen Butterball substitute
If you don't think rabbits can get aggressive try cornering one sometime. They have a growl you won't believe till you hear it and it's usually followed by a bite.
Mikey we had had rabbits for years as pets for the kids. One was pretty mean when you stuck your hand in the hutch. That growl is very unusual and lightning fast with a bite or scratch.
